The TradeScope desktop application does not collect, transmit, store, or process any personal data or usage data. Specifically, the app does not collect:

• Personal information (name, email, address)
• Usage analytics or telemetry
• Crash reports
• Trading data or financial information
• Device information or system specs
• IP addresses
• Location data

Website

This website (tradescope.dev) uses Umami, a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics tool. Umami collects anonymous, aggregated data such as:

• Page views and referrer URLs
• Browser type and device type (e.g., desktop vs. mobile)
• Country of origin (derived from anonymized IP)

Umami does not use cookies, does not track individual users across sessions, does not collect personal information, and does not share data with third parties. All analytics data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify you. Umami is compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR.

2. How the App Works

TradeScope is a desktop application that runs entirely on your local machine:

• Offline-only: The app makes no network connections after installation
• Read-only database access: The app reads NinjaTrader 8's local SQLite database file to display your trading analytics. It never writes to or modifies this database
• No accounts: There is no sign-up, login, or user account system
• No cloud: Your data is never uploaded, synced, or backed up to any server

All data processing happens locally. Your trading history, analytics, and reports exist only on your computer.

3. Cookies & Tracking

The TradeScope desktop application uses no cookies, no tracking pixels, no fingerprinting, and no analytics of any kind.

This website does not set any cookies. We do not use tracking pixels, fingerprinting, or any form of cross-site tracking. The only analytics tool used is Umami, which is entirely cookieless (see Section 1 above).

4. Third-Party Services

Stripe (Payment Processing)

When you purchase TradeScope, payment is handled by Stripe. Stripe collects payment information (name, email, billing details) to process your purchase.

We receive your email address and order details from Stripe to deliver your purchase. We do not store credit card numbers or payment details.

NinjaTrader

TradeScope reads data from NinjaTrader 8's local database. We are not affiliated with NinjaTrader. Your relationship with NinjaTrader is governed by their own terms and privacy policy.

5. Data Security

Because we collect no data, there is no data to breach. Your trading information stays on your local machine, under your control. We recommend standard security practices:

• Keep your operating system and software updated
• Use strong passwords on your Windows account
• Maintain regular backups of your important data

6. Children's Privacy

TradeScope is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Since we collect no data, changes are unlikely to be significant.
