1. Overview
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TradeScope ("Software," "Application," or "Product"), a desktop analytics application for Windows developed by TradeScope ("Developer," "we," "us," or "our").
By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using TradeScope, you ("User," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.
TradeScope is a desktop application that reads NinjaTrader 8's local SQLite database in read-only mode to display trading analytics, dashboards, calendars, trade logs, and reports. It operates entirely offline on your local machine.
2. License Grant
Upon valid purchase, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
- Install and use one (1) copy of the Software on one (1) personal computer
- Use the Software for your personal or professional trading analytics purposes
This license is for a single user on a single machine. You may transfer your installation to a different computer, provided the Software is removed from the previous machine. The license is perpetual for the version purchased, subject to compliance with these Terms.
3. No Financial Advice
TradeScope is analytics software, not a financial advisor.
The Software does not provide, and should not be construed as providing, any financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or any other form of professional advice. The Software is a tool that displays data and statistics derived from your existing NinjaTrader 8 trading records.
- No content, feature, report, metric, or visualization in the Software constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any financial instrument
- The Software does not suggest, recommend, or signal any trades or trading strategies
- Any analytics, statistics, patterns, or insights displayed are purely informational and historical in nature
- You should consult a qualified financial advisor before making any investment or trading decisions
You acknowledge that all trading decisions are made solely by you, at your own discretion and risk, independent of any information displayed by the Software.
4. No Liability for Trading Losses
We are not liable for any trading losses, financial losses, or damages resulting from your use of the Software.
Trading futures, options, and other financial instruments involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. You acknowledge that:
- You are solely responsible for all trading decisions you make
- Past performance data displayed by the Software does not guarantee future results
- The Software does not execute trades, place orders, or interact with any trading platform or brokerage
- Any losses you incur from trading are entirely your own responsibility, regardless of whether you used information displayed by the Software
5. No Warranty on Data Accuracy
The Software reads and displays data from NinjaTrader 8's local SQLite database. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any data displayed.
- Data accuracy depends entirely on what NinjaTrader 8 records in its database
- We have no control over how NinjaTrader stores, formats, or updates its data
- Calculated metrics (P&L, win rates, averages, etc.) are derived from available data and may not reflect your actual trading results
- Discrepancies between the Software's displays and your broker statements, NinjaTrader reports, or other sources may occur
- You should always verify important data against your broker's official records
We are not responsible for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the data displayed, whether caused by NinjaTrader's database, the Software's calculations, or any other factor.
6. Read-Only Access
TradeScope accesses NinjaTrader 8's SQLite database in read-only mode. The Software:
- Does not write to, modify, delete, or alter any data in NinjaTrader's database
- Does not modify NinjaTrader's configuration, settings, or files
- Does not interact with NinjaTrader's application processes
- Does not connect to any brokerage, exchange, or trading platform
While the Software is designed to be non-intrusive, we are not responsible for any issues with NinjaTrader 8, your trading platform, or your computer that may coincidentally occur while the Software is installed or running. If you experience any issues with NinjaTrader, please contact NinjaTrader support.
7. Software Provided "As-Is"
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:
- Implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
- Warranties that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or bug-free
- Warranties that the Software will be compatible with all systems or NinjaTrader versions
- Warranties that defects will be corrected
- Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of any output
You assume all risk associated with the installation and use of the Software.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SOFTWARE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE.
In no event shall we be liable for any:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
- Trading losses or financial losses of any kind
- Damages arising from reliance on any information displayed by the Software
- Damages arising from inability to use the Software
- Damages arising from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
These limitations apply regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise), even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Payment & Refund Policy
Payment
TradeScope is a one-time purchase. Payment is processed by Stripe. By purchasing, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.
30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. To request a refund:
- Contact us at support@tradescope.dev within 30 days of purchase
- Include your order number or the email used for purchase
- Refunds are processed through Stripe and may take 5–10 business days
We reserve the right to deny refund requests that show evidence of abuse, such as repeated purchases and refunds, or attempts to use the Software beyond the refund period.
Upon refund, your license is revoked and you must uninstall the Software.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Developer from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to:
- Your use or misuse of the Software
- Your trading activities or trading decisions
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Any claim that your use of the Software caused damage to a third party
11. Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Copy, redistribute, sublicense, resell, or share the Software
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the Software
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks
- Use the Software for any unlawful purpose
- Share your license key or credentials with others
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your license immediately, without prior notice, if you breach any provision of these Terms. Upon termination:
- Your license to use the Software is revoked
- You must uninstall and destroy all copies of the Software
- Sections 3–8, 10, and 13 survive termination
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Software shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
14. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users (e.g., via the download page or email if available).

TradeScope is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by NinjaTrader LLC. NinjaTrader® is a registered trademark of NinjaTrader LLC. All other trademarks, service marks, and trade names referenced in the Software or on this website are the property of their respective owners.
Any use of third-party trademarks is for identification purposes only and does not imply any affiliation, endorsement, or sponsorship.
