TradeScope

Accounts and excluded days

Rename, group and hide accounts, set reset dates for prop evaluations, and leave a bad day out of your stats.

Applies to TradeScope 2.4 · Updated September 2026

TradeScope finds your accounts automatically when it syncs with NinjaTrader. Manage them in Settings → Accounts & Groups.

Settings, Accounts & Groups

Hiding an account

Click the eye icon on an account’s row to hide it. A hidden account is left out of the Dashboard, Calendar, Reports and Trade Log. Click the icon again to bring it back. Nothing is deleted.

Hiding is useful for old evaluations, demo accounts, or accounts you only use for testing.

Renaming an account

Click the pencil icon to give an account a display name, such as “Apex 50K #2”. Press Enter to save or Esc to cancel. The original NinjaTrader name stays visible in brackets, and TradeScope still matches trades by it.

Groups

Groups gather related accounts so you can filter them together.

  • Pick a group from the dropdown on an account’s row. New accounts start as Ungrouped.
  • To make a group, type a name in New group name… and click Add Group.
  • Rename a group with its pencil icon. Delete it with the trash icon; its accounts move back to Ungrouped.

TradeScope creates Prop Firm and Sim groups for you based on account names. In the Account filter at the top of each page, groups appear as headings, so you can select a whole group at once.

Reset dates

Prop firms reset an evaluation when you fail it. A reset date tells TradeScope to start that account fresh.

  1. Click the calendar icon on the account’s row (Set reset date).
  2. Pick the date of the reset.

Trades opened before that date are left out of every statistic for that account. Click the X next to the date to clear it.

Excluding a day

Sometimes one day doesn’t represent your trading: a platform outage, a fat-finger order, or the last day of an evaluation when you swung for the fences. You can leave that day out of your statistics without deleting anything.

  1. On the Calendar, in Month view, click the day.
  2. Click Exclude this day from stats. If you traded several accounts that day, each has its own Exclude button, so you can remove just one.

That account’s trades for the day are left out of the Dashboard, Calendar, Reports, Journal and every other view. Your other accounts on that day are not affected. The trades stay in NinjaTrader and in TradeScope.

Restoring a day

Either open the day on the Calendar and click Restore, or go to Settings → Accounts & Groups → Excluded days, which lists every excluded day with a Restore button.

The EXCL label

Excluded days show a small EXCL label on the Calendar. To hide the label, turn off Show ‘EXCL’ marker on the Calendar in the Excluded days section. The days stay excluded either way.

Day exclusion isn’t available in demo mode.

Many accounts at once

With more than eight accounts, a search box and checkboxes appear. Select accounts, then use the bar that appears to hide or unhide them, set a reset date, move them to a group, or set a commission profile for all of them together.
