Getting started

TradeScope reads your trading history straight from NinjaTrader 8 on your PC. There’s nothing to export and no account to create.

What you need

• Windows 10 or 11
• NinjaTrader 8 installed on the same PC, with some trade history

TradeScope opens NinjaTrader’s database read-only and never changes it. NinjaTrader can stay open while you use TradeScope.

1. Install

Download the installer, run it, and follow the prompts. It’s about 6 MB.

Windows may show a SmartScreen warning because the installer is new. It is digitally signed. Click More info, then Run anyway. See Troubleshooting if your antivirus objects.

2. First launch

A short Welcome guide explains how TradeScope reads your trades. Click Got it to close it. You can reopen it any time from Settings → About → Welcome guide.

The first time you open TradeScope, it shows sample data: about three months of made-up trades across three prop accounts. Look around as much as you like. A banner at the top reminds you it’s demo data.

3. Start your free trial

1. Click Try with your data — 7 days free in the banner.
2. Enter your email and click Send code.
3. Enter the 6-digit code from the email and click Start trial. The code expires after 15 minutes.

No card is needed. The trial includes every feature. Each PC can use the free trial once.

4. Your first sync

TradeScope finds NinjaTrader automatically in its usual place, Documents\NinjaTrader 8. Once your trial or licence is active, it syncs your history, and your trades appear on the Dashboard.

If nothing appears, click Sync Now in the sidebar. If NinjaTrader is installed somewhere else, go to Settings → NinjaTrader & Sync and click Change to point TradeScope at its database.

5. Staying in sync

Auto Sync is on by default. Whenever NinjaTrader records new trades, TradeScope picks them up within a few seconds. The shield toggle at the bottom of the sidebar turns it off and on, and Sync Now syncs immediately.

When the trial ends

TradeScope goes back to sample data, but your synced trades and journal stay on your PC. Buy a licence whenever you’re ready and everything comes back exactly as you left it.

To buy, click Buy in the banner. Checkout opens in your browser, and TradeScope unlocks by itself when the payment goes through. There’s no key to type. See Licence and activation.
