Buying and the trial

How much is TradeScope? $19.99, once. There’s no subscription.

Is there a free trial? Yes, 7 days with every feature. No card is needed. See Getting started.

What happens to my data when the trial ends? It stays on your PC. Buy a licence whenever you like and pick up where you left off.

Is there a refund? Yes. Email support within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.

How many computers can I use? Two at once per licence. You can move it to a new PC; see Licence and activation.

Compatibility

Which platforms does it work with? NinjaTrader 8 on Windows. Mac isn’t supported.

Does it work with my prop firm? If you trade the account through NinjaTrader 8, yes. That includes Apex, Topstep, Bulenox and other firms that connect through NinjaTrader.

Can I import a broker, Rithmic or Tradovate CSV? Not yet. TradeScope reads your history from NinjaTrader. You can add missing trades by hand; see Manual trades.

Do I need NinjaTrader open? No. TradeScope reads NinjaTrader’s saved data, so it works whether NinjaTrader is open or closed.

Safety and privacy

Is my data uploaded anywhere? No. Your trades, journal and screenshots stay on your PC. TradeScope only contacts its server to activate your licence and check for updates.

Can TradeScope change my NinjaTrader data? No. It opens NinjaTrader’s database read-only.

Windows warned me about the download. Is it safe? Yes. The installer is digitally signed, and new files often trigger a warning at first. See Troubleshooting.

Using TradeScope

I trade several accounts in a day. Can I see each one? Yes. Each Calendar day shows the combined total; open the day to split it by account. See Calendar.

Why doesn’t my P&L match NinjaTrader? Usually the date range, commissions or the trading day boundary. See Pairing modes.

Can I leave a bad day out of my stats? Yes, per account. See Excluding a day.

I trade tick charts. Can I see them? The built-in charts use 1-minute bars, so attach your own screenshots to each trade. See Screenshots.

Why does “This Month” show next month in the evening? With the CME Globex trading day, a new day starts at 6:00 PM ET. See Trading day boundary.

How do updates work? TradeScope checks for updates when it starts, installs them, and restarts. Your data isn’t touched.

How do I move TradeScope to a new PC? Back up on the old PC and restore on the new one. See Backups and restore.
