Trade Log and manual trades
Browse and sort every trade, open its chart, export to CSV, and add trades NinjaTrader didn't record.
Applies to TradeScope 2.4 · Updated September 2026
The Trade Log lists every trade that matches your filters, newest first.

Reading the list
The cards at the top show Total Trades, Net P&L, Win Rate, Avg Trade and Profit Factor for the trades below.
Each row shows the entry and exit time, symbol, account, side, entry and exit price, quantity, duration, commission and net P&L. A small dot marks a position carried over from an earlier day. Manual trades are tagged MANUAL.
- Click a column header to sort by it. Click again to reverse the order.
- The list shows 50 trades per page.
Looking at one trade
- Click the candlestick icon on a row to open the trade on a price chart. The chart shows 1-minute bars from 15 minutes before entry to 15 minutes after exit, with your fills, entry and exit lines.
- Click anywhere else on the row for the trade’s details, including MAE, MFE, exit efficiency, and whether it came from NinjaTrader or was added by hand. Synced trades also have View Executions, which lists the fills behind the trade.
The trade chart is also where you attach screenshots. If a chart is empty, see Chart data.
Charting many trades
Range Chart puts every filtered trade on one chart. Pick an instrument and turn accounts on or off.
Exporting to CSV
Click Export CSV to save the filtered trades in their current order. The file includes entry and exit times, symbol, account, side, prices, quantity, duration, commission, gross and net P&L, MAE, MFE and ETD. It opens in Excel or Google Sheets.
Adding trades by hand
Use manual trades for anything NinjaTrader missed: a trade on another platform, a fill lost in a connection drop, or a correction.
Turning it on
Go to Settings → General → Manual Trade Entry and turn on Enable Manual Trade Entry. An Add Trade button then appears on the Trade Log, and the filter bar gets a source switch: All, Synced or Manual.
One trade
- Click Add Trade. Single is selected.
- Enter the Symbol and Account first. The other fields unlock after that.
- Choose Long or Short, the Entry Time, and either a Duration or an Exact exit time.
- Enter the prices and Quantity. P&L is worked out for common futures, marked AUTO. You can type over it.
- Add the Commission and click Add Trade.
Several trades
Click Add Trade, then Bulk. Set the symbol, account, date and commission once in Session Defaults, then fill in one row per trade. Add Row copies the previous row’s details. Click Add N Trades when you’re done.
Point values
Automatic P&L works for the common futures and micros, including ES, NQ, YM, RTY, CL, GC, SI, the treasury futures, major currencies, and MES, MNQ, MYM, M2K, MCL and MGC. For any other symbol, enter the P&L yourself.
Editing and deleting
Open a manual trade’s details and choose Edit Trade or Delete Trade. To delete several, tick their boxes and click Delete. Only manual trades can be edited or deleted. Synced trades always match NinjaTrader.
Manual trades count in every statistic and chart, and a sync never overwrites them.
